It's the KT&C KPC-VBN190NHWX. They are a pretty decent camera. They do require some light though for night use.

These are my 6 home cameras. The front window and front door are KT&C Bullets. The rest are CNB VCM-24VF Domes. The side gate camera has an infrared illuminator above it.
-
Anyone actually installed one of these? How did you make the cables look neat?
-
Wow. Your floor plan is very similar to mine. Having doors and windows covered are important. Those are good hot spots for entry into your home. After you get those covered then you can start placing cameras to cover things that you would also like to see like maybe your yard or driveway. It's important to properly weatherize your cable terminations inside of gang boxes to keep them out of the elements so your install will last forever the first time you do it. I've also got the same brand DVR. Mine is the Dahua ESDV-FULLD1-16. I ran one Cat-5 cable per camera. I've currently only got 4 cameras installed. 6 of the conductors are used for power and the other 2 are left for video signal. Just my thoughts.

Good License Plate camera for under $150?

Awesome Ron. I wouldn't mind mounting one of those at the edge of my yard for a little fun. Haha. -
Hey thanks groovy. I appreciate it. It's turned out okay thus far and I think i'm happy with it. These cameras were easy to wire. I wired another one that I had to crawl up into the attic quite a bit. Good thing I have a pair of glow rods.

Thanks Soundy. As time goes on I will put up more pics. Here are a couple night shots of it. One shows with just my porch lights on and the other with the motion light on. I'm thinking of putting a little paint around the back sides of the flood lights to help.

Can't go wrong with the dome camera that Soundy is recommending. I'm using some bullets that also give a decent quality for the price.

Cameras switching channels randomly

I've been incredibly happy with my Dahua DVR. -
On second thought. I moved one of them and added a little artificial vegetation to help conceal it. Worked out real well. Good $4 investment.

Sorry soundy. The forum would only let me do 3 at a time. Is there a better pic hosting page?

Just recently installed a Dahua ESDV-FULLD1-16 with a couple bullet cameras to get my home CCTV install off the ground. Over all i'm pretty happy with how it's turned out. I used 2 KT&C KPC-VBN190NHWWX 550TVL outdoor bullets. I liked the quality of the pictures I saw and what Rory told me about them. I just ordered another one and also a CNB VCM-24VF dome camera. The company I ordered the bullets from sent them in white accidentally, but they made it right on my next order. I used Cat-5 twisted pair with videosecu baluns. I found the gangboxes at home depot. I'm going to silicone the entry of them up at some point. It's my first home install. Don't bash me too hard. LOL I still need to tidy up some of the cat5. Eventually it will be painted to match the wood it's mounted to. The grey flex conduit you see is for a 220v line that's used for another hobby Anyway, here are some photos.
