  1. Hi I am trying to trigger a Panasonic wv-ns202a IP camera to go into alarm mode from a 3rd party system over Ethernet. The documentation for the camera states that it will respond to the Panasonic Alarm Protocol. After a great deal of "googling" I managed to find the PDF of a document that described the protocol at a high level but there were details left out. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me the format of the alarm message in its simplest form. I'm also open to any alternatives. The only other way to put the camera into alarm mode that I have been able to find is to pull another wire to the camera and use this to close a set of contacts on the camera. I greatly prefer not to pull a second wire and to simply send a command over Ethernet. I've been through all the Panasonic CGI-Bin protocol documentation but didn't see any commands that would place the camera into alarm mode other than the references in the documentation to the Panasonic Alarm Protocol. Thanks in advance for the help Jay
