    Thanks js, I have already tried your suggestion. The resolution setting is something that concerns me. The camera I have says it is 420 lines or effective pixel PAL 628x582. Geovision has no such setting. Could this be my problem? I'm not convinced as, looking at different cameras on the internet, 420 lines is fairly common. Thanks, Alan.

    Hi, I have a Geovision GV600. The image quality I get is extremely poor - see example at the following link - http://www.strathblanefield.org.uk/geo.avi When I hook the camera up to a normal TV set, the image is great. I have been through this forum and searched elsewhere but haven't got any idea what the problem could be. Anyone got any ideas?. I am running Version 8 of the software. Thanks, Alan.
