    GeoVision Hybrid

Hi - currently I have a GeoVision system with 2 GV-1480A cards and 28 analog cameras and 4 GeoVision IP cameras connected. The system is working well for me and now I want to have a lower spec system at another site. I am considering using a 16 camera GV-800 version 3.52 card with version 8.5 software. I am wondering if I would be able to also use this system in the same Hybrid mode and have a mixture of analog cameras and GeoVision IP cameras. Ideally I would like to have 16 analog cameras and about 5 GeoVision IP cameras connected. Will the GV-800 version 3.52 card allow me to do this just like my GV-1480A system currently does? Thanks
  2. Hi Folks I am new to this - so please tell me if I am not doing things right. I am trying to capture the journal printer output from my Panasonic pos and import it into my GV-1480 without using the POS Data Box - any help that you can provide me would be greatly appreciated. The journal printer is Parallel and connects to a standard DB25 connector on the POS. I would really like to make up a custom "Y" cable so that the pos printer still prints and also the pos printer output is sent to the GeoVision system. Is this possible with a Parallel printer without using the POS Data Box and if so does anyone know what the pinouts would be? Many thanks
