Oh yes this is genuine

I just bought a Dahua (i think) system with cameras and NVR which is rebranded to a chinese company from this chinese company. How can i identify that these products really are Dahua products since there is no Dahua logo and not something else? Not that Dahua logos cannot be frauded:). Surely it should be easy to identify this NVR: http://www.dahuasecurity.com/products/nvr410441084116-p-675.html by the software?

I will be choosing lenses for my camera setup. I can choose between these. 2.8/3.6/4.2/6 mm I will be using 3 cameras. Here are three sketches. What would you guys say? Thanks. Edit: The height of the ceiling is about 2,5 meters, not 3 meters. Regards Eikido

I'm sorry but these cameras don't have varifocal lenses. :\ So that is why i created this thread, to try and figure out which lenses i need. Thank you.

I'm about to setup a surveillance system for my brothers shop, and i'd like to know why more or less analog (~520tvl) cameras are still present when we have digital IP systems today. Isn't the digital system (IP) with ethernet/wifi superior? I compared 1 MP cameras with normal 600 TVL systems, and the IP based seems to win all rounds. Still, analog systems are still very present. I don't get it? Its D1 each channel but its not Full D1? What is Full D1 compared to D1?
