Has anyone tried to recreate or build something similar (on a budget)?
I'd like to be able to incorporate some/most of these capabilities:
Fixed IP megapixel camera
PTZ motor head
Enclosure with wiper
Ethernet controllable
Cellular even?
All the PTZ motor heads I can find use Pelco-D serial controls. Would I need an Ethernet to Pelco-D converter?
I've built enclosures with fixed IP cameras hooked up to Cradlepoint routers so I can deploy via cellular in the field, but I have no idea how to make the quantum leap into PTZ motor heads and wipers.
