My father recently set up the surveillance system in his shop and would like to add two more cameras, one for the office and another to the hallway. Looking for smaller dome cameras.

He's using an older DVR CE-DVR800 he got from a buddy http://clintonelectronics.com/PDFs/DVR-ProSeries.pdf

What would you guys recommend that's priced reasonably? Not looking for top of the line.

The computer he is using has plenty of HD space, but I'm just not sure what 8 channel card with what software to get if I were to buy those dome cams you linked.

Hello, I am new here and need some help finding an 8 camera system for my fathers woodworking shop.

He currently has a computer with a 4 channel card and 4 old cameras hooked up by coax. The power supplies of these cameras keep dying and he would like to upgrade.

What would be a good 8 channel card/software and what kind of indoor cameras would you guys suggest?
