Hey guys I searched but could not find anything on how the alarm output of a DVR would be able to release a door strike. I would be using a digimerge DH200+ which has a programmable NO/NC alarm output relay which I can operate manually from a remote site. Since it does not supply power to the strike how would I release it since my strike would require 12 or 24 volts. Should I use a magnetic lock? The door is a residential wooden one if it matters.
