    . I believe that IP would be best since that monitored end may not be stationary. So there is nothing available for a PTZ that has built-in 360 motion detectors? Here is what I am thinking: A PTZ on a post, in a field, facing North. Something walks near it from East to South. The "motion detectors" pick it up and the camera turns and tracks it until it leaves it's detection zone. Have I been watching too many movies, or would that be possible? Please pardon my ignorance on the subject. Thanks for the help so far!

    I am looking for a PTZ that has 360 degree motion detectors. Does something like that exist? I would also be willing to build one, if I could find where to purchase the darn parts! Can anyone help? Thank you.
