Luckily a friend and i found a working SHA104 v1, acces it trough Telnet, download the Apps, Parameters, and Root and then put them in my foulty SHA104, and guess what? It worked! So, KGuard Support, there IS a way to do it trough Telnet, if only you didn´t where so greedy telling me i have to bought another one becouse you don´t have support for a faoulty FW Upgrade , we could have done it much earlier! George, you are a Genius! , how i envy your skill with the Linux console!...and yes, is ls, not dir jajaj
  2. i have a SHA104 Kguard DRV I had to update the DVR, because I had more and more problems accessing the DVR because all new PCs come wieth IE9 installed, and also can´t view the cams with my BlackBerry In the FTP site, there were 2 firmwares: SHA-104Asee_FW.zip, dated 07-Dec-2011 and SHA-104V2_FW.zip dated 23-Apr-2012 Since the label of my DVR does not say v2 anywhere, plus it was already 2 years, I assumed SHA-104Asee_FW.zip was the correct upgrade. when I inserted the Pendrive and choose to upgrade, I saw the message that was being updated, but when it restarted, the DVR was stuck on a screen that says System Initializing ... Since then I can not access the DVR at all, I can not access over the LAN or by buttons on the front, i tried unpluggin the power, removing the hard disk, and nothing seems to work. I sent a emal to kguard support, and receive this answer: This is because firmware update incomplete causing DVR faulty. There is no way to upgrade firmware, except to send in for repairs. You have bought the DVR for 2 years so the warranty period is expired. Please try to contact the store you purchase the DVR and see if they can provide you a replacement or send in repairs. Thank you. Later I discovered that the DVR now has a new IP: 192.168.1.42, before the ip was: 192.168.1.100. I don´t use DHCP, so i don´t know Where the DVR get this new ip. Through a port scan of that new IP, I found that has the following open ports: 25 (smtp) 23 (telnet) 80 (www-http) 110 (pop3) 3128 (squid) 8080 (http-proxy) i tried to acces the DVR with that new IP on ports 80 and 8080 with no luck I finally acces it through Telnet with user: root , pass:123456 The DVR have Busybox v.1.1.2 installed Now I can see the directories and apps and want to try replace the currents and faulty apps but can´t get them from a older Firmware .sw file, because isn´t a commpresed file and i don´t know how to extract the files from it. Anyone with a sha104, can acces it thru telnet, donwload the files and send them to me? I hope anyone can! Thanks in advance!
