I bought a micro pinhole ipcam from aliexpress nearly a year ago. It has worked well but using the app xmeye I was offered a firmware upgrade. This all seemed to work successfully until I found the wifi access had disappeared. Can anyone tell me where I could get a firmware for the camera please. There is no name for the camera it is advertised as 720P H.264 Onvif mini ip camera wifi HD Wifi IP Camera Wireless P2P Plug Play Camera 3.7mm pinhole lens for support microphone. Thanks

I have set up webviewer. Ports have been forwarded through router and all works ok. I have one small problem. When I connect from a remote location my speed is showing at around only 31kb/sec and frame rate only between 1 and 3 fps. Both connections are broadband. Is there anything I can do to increase the speed. Thanks

I know I didn't get any replies but just to say after I posted I realised I was being stupid and sorted it.

Have setup the ddns with website but now I can't figure out how to use itto logon. Could anyone give me some advice please.

Sorry forgot to say the router is a Fon. It splits the output into 2 signals. One private and the other for public use (hotspot). Using this then gives free access to many fonspots worldwide. Thought it might be useful. It all works ok except for the cctv and that is more important to me.

Yes I am using DDNs but that is working ok. I also have the pc with the dvr set with a static ip. My problem is getting through the modem. When I connect to my DDns server I connect to my modem setup page.

I have forwarded the ports on the modem to the external ip address of the router and then forwarded the ports through the router to the pc but I still can't get through the modem. Can't see anything that I have done wrong.

My adsl wireless router gave up. I bought a new router but this is not adsl and I have it connected to a Smart AX MT882 modem. No problem until I come to setup port forwarding for my GV800 card. Never had a problem before but now the pc's ip address is 192.168.10.202 obtained automatically from the router. The modems ip address is 192.168.1.1. I can't manage to forward the ports. have tried all kinds of permutations but when I try to connect to my cameras I just get the modem setup screen. Any help please.

Just to add. If you try this www.1avon.me.uk Login General Pass toshiba (use as I have written G upper case) You will see the problem If I click this address from my own pc it will work but not from any other.

I have the xvision software ands the router configured to use port 9090. The trouble is I'm a bit raw with this. The strange thing is that on the odd occasion it will work. Will look at hardwiring the dvr to router as you suggest.

I have an Xvision DVR system with 4 cameras which I have set up to work as a server and client and also to use as a web based system. My system works through a Safecom wireless router. The server and client software works fine but I have a problem when trying to use on the web. I get the screen and log in box but when I try to log in I get a message saying cannot connect to server. If I log in from any pc on my network but connect as if on the net I log in ok. Any advice appreciated.
