Quick Question about Geovision card versions and upgrades
alanbillips replied to MrWhite's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Probably too late for this reply, but according to http://www.usavisionsys.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=69 v3.01 can only go to software version 6.05 -
can an Administrator delete another Administrator
alanbillips replied to alanbillips's topic in Geovision
Thank you for the reply. Both users were full admins. Anyways, according to Geovision, " there is no way to delete another admin account without their password, and there is no other way around this besides running the PassUnInstall.exe to remove all of the accounts. " -
In the newer versions of the software, can an Administrator delete another Administrator without knowing their password. I thought I used to be able to do this, but when I click on their account, it asks me for their password.

Is there a good reason that you cannot upgrade ? All you need is the software. " We do not have the option of upgrading "

I am not an expert at geovision, but so far .9 has not crashed.
-
ok. I now have 9 installed on the server and was able to use AView on android. This one is my most used server internally running Multiview and RemoteLog And a few users using Android. I'll try to be sure to access it often this week and report. None of my users use the web browser by itself.

Thank you for the reply. I may try 8.5.9 but will go back to .7 if it does not work
-
Did you get an answer to this ? I just started having trouble on one of my 4 servers. Internal Computer Multiview users have no problem, But if I use my phone an connect with gvAview, the Web service stops. Then no one can connect. It has worked fine for a long time.

How do I view IP/Analog cameras using the RCA jack on a 1480
alanbillips replied to RichTJ99's topic in Geovision
If you want to see the same view as the GV system, or have it flip through each cam, Add the HDMI to the computer and have it duplicate the PC monitor. Then you will have the gv system on both monitors.
