How do you guys typically configure them for general outdoor use? Also, what is the purpose of the F/L dip switch? I assume it has something to do with focal length but I can't make sense of it Thanks from a CCTV noob

Thanks All but two of the outdoor cameras will be under porches/eaves and those two are flanked by solid rows of trees so I hope that will be enough. As for nighttime range, we'll just have to see how it does. Does water (e.g. pool) reflect IR light? *edit* D'oh nevermind - I just found out the pool is always lit at night
