Any specific recommendation on what would be more appropriate?

How about ASUS P4C800DX with a 2.0 MHz P4 for running a GV650-4?

Which specific ASUS motherboards can you recommend? The ones I have looked at that are recommended elsewhere are all out of production.

The newer PE 400SC servers are 800 MHz FSB, HT P4 processors and DDR memory.

Has anyone used the Dell PowerEdge 400SC as the server to host a Geovision system? I really like the cost / performance of these servers, but wonder about statements I have heard that a high quality AGP graphics card is required.
