christhomas861 started following Eyeonet/Eyemax Software
-
I have a 16 channel PCI DVR card that works pretty well, but I can't figure out how to get the software to add more than 8 presets or perform touring The DVR software is called "Eyeonet". Software version appears to be 5.1.0.0. A similar software called "Eyemax" also seems to work with it, but is still not doing what I need. The manual states that I'm supposed to be able to set 256 presets, set up tours, etc. and the cameras DO support more than 8 presets. But when I go to add the ninth preset, the software gives me this silly engrish error "That can be preset to set in the range". Whatever that means. The touring button does absolutely nothing. I can use PTZ Controller and get everything going, but I think that is a pretty sorry work-around, since it hinders me when I want to move the cameras around inside the DVR software. Any ideas?

Can anyone identify this card?

Thanks for both of your help. Haven't had any luck finding cables, and no results when I look up the numbers on the stickers. Probably would be more worth my time to get another card that has everything with it, but was just cuious since this one was just lying around. -

I'm pretty sure this is a DVR card of some sort. Can anyone tell me what it is exactly? What sort of sortware and cables do I need? Thanks! -

How do I go about removing the dome cover on a WV-CS954? I'm too scared I'll break it . I tried screwing it off but all it does is spin.

Thanks . I got one of those converters now so gonna try it.

It is a Lorex L20WD800321 all-in-one type unit. I haven't seen any type of menu button. I got a camera that looks similar to it to show its menu by going to Preset 95, but this one doesn't do that.

Ok, I've got the baud rate and ID set, and it does PTZ ok. Now I'm trying to get into the OSD menu if it has one. How would I go about it?

I have the camera as seen on ebay with item number 160815880439 What is this camera? How do I get into the OSD Menu?

I've seen one setup where a cable modem was installed inside a weatherproof box and given a static IP. Power cables where appropriate, a network camera, network cables, & etc... you get the idea. Crude but effective

I'm new to CCTV, but learned a lot in the past few weeks. I'm installing cameras for the business I work for, and so far everything has been RS-485 (easy). Then I run into this Speed Dome 2000 that uses RS-422? Anyhow, I have a Lorex L20WD800 8-channel DVR + screen unit that only has Relay, RS-485 and RS-232 connections. It is labeled as such: PTZ: D+, D-, GND RS-232: GND, TX, RX GND is shared between the two. Not sure what the relay thing is for. I get the Speed Dome to power up, show picture, and go through its init process, but can't figure out how to control it with the Lorex. Any help is greatly appreciated!
