    GV-1240 V8 driver issues?

Well I'd agree but it's been working flawlessly since 8.0 was initially released The other machine I tried it in was also a nForce based motherboard but I've set up 2 other systems using one with no problems. Do you think its possible that the card has crapped out and instead of saying 'card not found' or 'cannot find keypro' it just suggests a driver update instead? I think this might be the case because when I completely remove all drivers, and then run the GV-System, it says the same message, upgrade driver.

    GV-1240 V8 driver issues?

I've been using a GV-1240-8 card for a few months now and it has been great. (Previously had GV-650-. It came with GV v8.0 software. It's on a dedicated machine running 24/7 (XP1.8GHz, 1GB, NF2 mobo) and the other day I noticed the screen was blank. I have no monitor hooked up to it, only TV-out on both the video card and GV card. I couldn't get a response from the system, so I rebooted and everything was fine. Later that day it kept rebooting itself and not starting the GV-software. I'm sure that since the software wasn't starting the watchdog was just resetting the system. I let it chill out for a bit, and next time I turned it on it started up fine. The next day I come in and it's off again, and whenever the GV-system tries to start I get the message 'The Video Capture Card driver is not compatible with your current GV-System.Please Upgrade the driver to version 8.0 or later.' I've tried re-installing the driver, upgrading to 8.01, etc. I even took the card into a clean machine and installed the 8.01 drivers, then installed the 8.01 system and I get the same message. I'm beginning to think that something is wrong with the card. The card shows up in device manager as GV-1480. I've tried manually installing the drivers as well as using the utility. It says install successfully but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any pointers or something else I should try?
