Hi everyone, I have a huge issue with a NV8416 and two motherboards, one MSI and other ASUS, both the NV6480 works perfectly but the NV8416 gives me a error "SLOT (x) Error, Please check with your motherboard vendor" (or something like that). This message appear only in the new version software NV 7.9.000.24. This happend when you reboot the DVR, and sometimes appears and sometimes don´t, in the MSI motherboard appears almost always, an in the ASUS y very random. All the specs for this card where followed. Aver saids, the problem is the PCIExpress x4 of the motherboard wich actually can´t use the x4 and use only x1. If you ask me, the problem is the NV cards not the motherboards, I´ve try to contact MSI but no lucky yet. I see no logic on this, because I can buy 2 ATI VGA and use on the some motherboard and works perfectly at x4 I´m really apreciate your comments and questions. Regards George Sorry for my english.

Hi!, Call Aver, and ask for the SDK (Software Development Kit) or RSTP protocol wich actually Aver supports on the NV software only. Regards George

hi john yes they are you matrix start button. john are you using motherboard vga or are you using a card. but with not having right button mouse control something is not right. you might be better to update your software. That's just it, Tom. I have updated everything. I'm using an Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT with 1gb mem and the latest drivers. Do you (or anybody here) have any idea what this "Aero Mode" error message is that I get? Thanks, John Hi!, I think the "Aero Mode" is the Windows 7 default theme, I never had this error only the UAC switch, but if you want to test, try to use the "Windows 7 Basic" Theme or more XP the "Windows Classics", of course you´ll see the improvement of the OS speed. Hi everyone!, Im new here In my opinion the problem is the CPU, Avermedia doesn´t support XEON processors, only i3/i5/i7/P4/DualCore/Core2Duo, that´s why I recommend the customer to NOT use HP/Dell based PCs. DELL/HP Not always has a descent VGA - Some Intel motherboards don´t work and of course the XEON. Regards George PD: Sorry for my english
