Hi, I'm still trying to decide which 4ch DVR to get. I'm going to want to view the 4 cameras realtime on my iPad in addition to recording continuously etc. Will any DVR do this better, more easily, and better resolution than another? Any help on choosing would be great. Also, a lot of sellers offer to set it up for you as a one-off cost. Is this worth doing or is it easy to do yourself? Joe.

Am I right in thinking that some of these websites constructing these 4-cam kits etc, so they can chuck a really rubbish DVR in with say Sony cameras to fool you into thinking you're getting something great by trading off the sony name ?

Look, I have found the same thing (but with dome cameras) for only £525etc Not that I really know what I am doing, but it doesn't say at what frame-rate the DVR can record 4 cameras at? I thought for best picture you need at least 7fps ? Hi folks. Looking for a 4-cam set-up to protect my home, and this seems to cover what I want from a system. Cant work out if its overpriced though? Can anyone guide me?
