I have a Cantonk CK-A9008 DVR, The thing still works fine but I wanted to access it from either my work computer or my Iphone or Ipad.
First of all it is next to impossible to find any documentation on the product other than who makes it. I have long lost the manual and it seems to me it was worthless anyway.
I had a DX client viewer but it won't work outside my local network.
I can access the DVR in my house on the computer but not outside my local network. I have opened ports 3356, 3357, and 3360, and verified that they were open. It says it has 3G support which I'm assuming it can be viewed over Ipad or Iphone, Ive downloaded some of the free Iphone Apps and i can't get in.
Does anyone know if I need a app by Cantonk, or which one should I use.
I have sent emails to Cantonk but have not received any response from them.
Any help would be appreciated.
