dvr Cmos battery is same as pc??? wouldnt it damage dvr software? it is on the board or i have to remove the board??

is there any problem with my dvr's cmos battery ?

is this problem exist in other dvrs? which ntp server (ip and port) do you prefer?

dvr's time goes faster when unplugged not slower

so my dvr isnt faulty? the only solution is NTP??

I have a hikvision analog dvr ( DS-7204HFI ) I have setup the dvr at my home to install it in my office next week. i manually setup the clock exactly with my pc's time (which is updated from windows time server) and then turned off the dvr , unplugged it and i didnt plugged it for 1 week after 1 week in my office i observed than dvr's time is not exactly as same as my pc's time . it seems than dvr's clock running faster than normal when it is unplugged please help me what can i do with this issue ??

tnx for your reply would you please tell me why you will choose d1 model? is there any diffrence between d1 and wd1 with my 600tvl cnb domes? there are only these 2 models avilable in our country.

i am instaling a 4 cam system for my father's office i will use 4 ir dome camera from cnb lbm-21s - which is 600 tvl (650 bw) tomaarow i am going to buy hikvision dvr there are 2models avillable 1. wd1 recording at 12fps per channel ( if i choose d1 quality it will also record at 12fps) 2. d1 recording at 30 fps i dont remember the exact model no. acording to my cameras which dvr u suggest me to buy? i will use 1tb hard disk

Hi I want to install a CCTV System with 2 cameras for my office. as there are many no name dvrs and cameras , im completely confused which one to buy I have access to these brands: Hikvision hivision cnb dynacolor . . and many other no names which i cannot trust them ( could any one suggest a good brand for dvr and dome for me? picture quality is very important and i cant pay for IP cam because they are too expensive i dont want cameras which i cannot recongnize face with them like CNB videos in youtube : is hikvision a high quality dvr and camera?
