I have an interesting scenario with a DVR365 and wonder if anyone can help at all?
It is a 3 camera system with no motion detection or alarms used, just regular recording.
I have been provided with a recording by this system from a few months ago, but do not have access to the system itself.
When viewing the recorded footage in the format above, the top two cameras (1 and 2) both have an identical time, yet camera 3 is blank and 16 seconds behind 1 and 2.
I am told camera 3 had been overheating at the time and therefore not working, though I have no evidence this was the case.
If you wanted to achieve the effect in the picture above, could you disable cameras 1 and 2 in the DVR software, alter the system date back to the time you want to override, cover camera 3 with something to make the screen black, record over the camera 3 footage you wanted to hide, then reinstate the correct time and re-enable cameras 1 and 2? Therefore when you go back to look at the footage, it looks as if they were all recorded at the same time. Could the time anomaly from camera 3 be because the time could not be synced when the system time was changed?
