    ipc-HFW3200S

That's where I got the one I have. Took about a week to get to me. Do you guys have a direct email to Tina? I tried their generic support email and they replied that they won't ship to the US. tina@
  2. It looks like mine is the same.
  3. Agreed. Can't tell if it has IR filter on it or not, and no difference between the working vs non-working sensors. Saw this thread viewtopic.php?f=19&t=33075 and the sensor is similar to the pictures in the thread.
  4. It does look like a bad IR sensor. I swapped the IR panel with one from another camera and it seems to work fine. When I moved a finger close to the problematic sensor, the IR starts flickering.
  5. I will check it when the rain stops and I have a chance to get up there to take a look.
  6. my camera is starting to exhibit this flickering issue last night. I had to switch it to color mode for now until I figure out what's going on. If I take the glass cover off the IR doesn't flicker, so I'm wondering if it's the sensor has gone bad.
  7. Yes, it does work if you have the password.
  8. I had this same issue for my HFW3200 camera after upgrading and rebooting, and the flickering continue for like an hour. Then the problem went away on its own and haven't had seen it since. Try to reset to default settings and wait for awhile.
  9. I'm considering the 5611 to point at the mailbox near the street for it's extra zoom. The 2MP Dahua isn't reaching far enough out for facial recognition plus it isn't WDR. Only thing holding me back for going with 5611 is the 15fps at 1080p. Any other camera that would work better for this case with 30fps, where mailbox is about 40-50 feet out?
  10. I hope Costco will do the same for the 1080P cameras.
  11. I can get a Dahua to work in Avigilon with ONVIF quite easily. It auto recognized it. Just no motion detection. Supposedly Dahua is running ONVIF 2.0, and you need ONVIF 2.2 for motion detection. So, unless Dahua upgrade their ONVIF, Avigilon won't be able to do motion detection with these cameras.
  12. I wonder if you can use Dahua's firmware on it and get back to original settings.
  13. You can get the 1.3MP mini bullet from Costco. See this thread viewtopic.php?f=19&t=32694.
  14. I am demoing Avigilon ACC right now and it is very nice software; however, when using Dahua's cameras, it does not do motion detection at this time. I have put a request in to add support for the camera, but not sure when it will happen. So, if you have Dahua's cameras, it is not fully useful at this time.
  15. You're connecting through RTSP? I let it auto detect via the Express detection method, and Xprotect detects camera as ONVIF compliant camera. Just make sure you uncheck the audio portion. Also make sure the camera substream is set to MJPEG and D1 on the camera Web Service.
  16. I am able to connect using Xprotect Go by turning off audio connection on it. Give that a try.
  17. You need to get Surveillance Station Pro. It lists 2 Dahua cameras support. http://www.qnap.com/NAS/Compatibility.html
  18. how much gain did you push your settings to? I tried to push it up to 60 and getting a lot of noise.

    limiting FPS with IP Camera

Dahua cameras have settings that you can specify the FPS.
  20. Yeah, not part of camera review.
  21. It looks like the bullet is better to go with for now since the dome is causing softness for many. I hope Dahua engineers can get the issue fix. In the settings, you can set up a Multicast stream, but what software would you use to view the stream? And what settings would you set it up with, rtsp?
  22. Anyone has experience with the following Poe microphone kit to add to an ip camera? How is the quality and pickup of sounds with the microphone. I would like to get something that is poe. http://www.a1securitycameras.com/ETS-SM5-EA.html
  23. That's exactly what I did. I couldn't delete those accounts either so just changed the password, and only forward the NVR port but not the camera ports.
  24. Interested in seeing these 2 perform at night, and especially if the IR in the dome affects images at different angles the camera points out of the dome, and whether the picture is soft at the edges due to the the dome. IPC-HFW3300C (3MP) IPC-HDBW3300 (3MP)
