hi from specs it looks like a very good camera to build best camera best part is the coax setup / update multiplex can you send email to bosh and order for next model to have bidirectional audio 3-5w amp spk out and compresor/eq mic amp , multiplex on same coax and if power can be add that to ,1 wire to camera solution and work on the price a litle and bosh will have a best camera to fight new crimewave of the future from a pda now that you are part of bosh team they will respond to you dusan -

hi i like the spec on bosh nite/day 0620 camera how can i get one asap to test/eval/buy need better nite/day camera that old sony 314 bw car thief try to steeal my car this nite http://www.houstoncomputer.com/~dusan/av/gv/car-thief/Event20050628052005003.avi recoded on gv800 at 10fps 640x240 compresion set lev2 mpeg4 light is 60w bulb on a corner have 3 videos as car on street deliver car thief and me responding after "need to have bidirectional sound option" as you can see from this video i yell on the criminal and he politly left my car so moral of this story is you need instant alarm and instant responce if only a sound that you are watching and responding helps prevent crime my car was lock and alarm was on and it did not help dusan -

DVR Motion Detection Tripped by Camera Noise
dusan replied to AVCONSULTING's topic in General Digital Discussion
hi have same problem on old geovision gv800 v2 sw605 and wd hyperd baxel camera so i set to motion #6 from preset 9 and max seting 10 and mask as much i can motion is not that good on many dvr's systems my gv800 is trip by fast sun, rain, lightning,ac ground loop video hum, other video noise, camera vibration at zoom 6x ,etc plug all parts of a video dvr system from same outlet power and ups and use good video cables and connectors (no twist on jobs) this linux motion is good starting point how motion detect works best motion sensing i seen for the money is on linux have many options how to set and optimize http://www.lavrsen.dk/twiki/bin/view/Motion/WebHome http://www.zoneminder.com/ so what we need is a better software motion module in all dvr's, and faster smp computers with big database for ai detection i think that people and car motion tracking software is very hi $$$ looks nice , good start for ai and better security recorders http://www.objectvideo.com/ dusan -
hi looks like your original problem was a power and ground loop problem new video / power mux now have a rf noise leaky coax http://www.biwave.com/ test a rechargeble battery power only for video camera ,dpdt relay switch to recharge battery power (or dc insulated floting power supply) ,in off position when in video use tap from 220v so no need for extra power wire and ground loop insulation cat5 / coax video adaptor better is to go digital at the bottom ,so go mpeg4 video/ptz like SED-2100R and if you need SED-3200 for decode http://www.acti.com/corporate/contact.htm network up no video noise ,use cat5 stranded shielded waterproof dusan

hi look at your computer memory min 1gb needed for prerecord need extra 512mb for 10s at 6fps i set gv800 for 10s prerecord 6fps and 10s postrecord at 640x240 15fps and it works ok , problem i see at this time is that motion only trigger one camera and not a 2nd camera like if system is not multitasking on prerecord motion trigger so it looks like pre record have a problem if you need more than one camera record at a same time on motion trigger at the moment it uses ~12gb per camera a month of motion trigger recording , on 3 cameras on 250gb hd dusan

Need true 'real-time' video, audio, and PTZ over internet
dusan replied to eganson's topic in System Design
hi look at sdsl (1.5mb-2.3mb) line if you not to far from telco co ( max 6000ft ) or low cost t1 line 1.5mb ($500) i use speakeasy 3000/768k adsl line 8 static ip's ~ $108 and get ~ 6fps at 320x240 ~ 13k and ~16fps at 176x144 ~5k on axis jpeg , so get one adsl 768k upload and do low cost test use fast mpeg4 steamer server and ~320x240 resolution on t1 line and that is your best shot on the ~$500 internet buget in usa at this time see www.dslreports.com for adsl and sdsl price help dusan -
