    Figured I would post my camera question in this thread. Anyone heard of a camera manufacturer named CLINTON? A local rep gave me a CEVX20 to demo when I went to inquire about CNB (They had a LDM-20S) How does it compare to the CNB that is frequently recommended here. This will be for home use.

    DVR0804HF-A Seems they use 0804 for several of the 8 channel units

    Called Qvis a short while ago, and the rep told me they are using another manufacturer for all their units. Dont know how accurate she was, but it came from the source. I think I will just purchase a Dahua DVR0804 from a Florida seller. Looks to be a good enough unit for a home. On another note - anyone heard of a camera manufacturer named CLINTON?     Was about to purchase 3 Qvis Apollo HDRT LX but noticed a post which stated that Qvis is not using Dahua dvrs any longer. Anyone have any information regarding this? Thanks

    Guess I answered my own question about type of DVR by finishing reading the entire post. Saw it was Qvis Apollo - I think I would like the ability of 30fps on all chan so I at least have the option, thx for the video too.

    I have been reading through your post, but am still skimming the surface (There is alot of content) Am I allowed to ask where and what model DVR you purchased? I was looking at the Ultimate mini 8ch at securitycameraking (info from the WHERE TO FIND DAHUA post) but would like more options to look at. Couple of the guys at my firehouse are considering buying together so this will be for at least 3 of us. I am in the same boat, away for 24hrs and want something to keep an eye on the house while at work, figured I would start with a dahua DVR and work up from there adding cameras as you did. Thanks for everyones efforts here, I understand this is all voluntary and is well appreciated by newbs like myself. Henry
