First Design and first install Have clients for 3 more if...
chipman posted a topic in System Design
This is my First Design and first install Have clients for 3 more if...this one goes right.I have several questions and it seems the people on this board are truly the experts. I sure would appreciate any advice from the experts. This home has 3 entrances all are covered and all camera sites are approx. 4 to 6 ft from the doors. Should the cameras be facing the door, sideways, or facing the person at the door? Which type lens would be best for this application? Does this camera sound like a good match: Outdoor night vision, 20m IR distance, Standard with 3.6 mm lens and 6mm Lens Optional, adopt the third generation of IR LED array technology with single LED Array light. High resolution IR night vision effect, long life time. 1/3" Sony Effio Color CCD, 650 / 700TVL, OSD There are also 3 outdoor drive way cameras to be mounted on the home facing a wide courtyard and drive way questions.... Should I have one camera capture a wide shot of the courtyard approx 40 ft wide? Then one camera as more of a close up of where the driveway or parking are is? Then one down the approach. Could you please advise on the lenses for these set ups? Would this camera be a good fit: 0 Lux with 8/12/16/ 25 mm Lens optional, standard 25m CS Fixed Lens, 18 Pcs ?8 big IR LEDs at two side, 24 pcs ?5 and 12pcs ?8 LEDs, 80M IR Distance, DC12V, Silver Color housing. 1/3" Sony Effio Color CCD, 650 / 700TVL, OSD Now for indoors most hallways and areas are approx 20 ft wide and 15 ft from the area. Could you please advise on the lens for this? Do you feel this should be a dome camera? Would this camera be a good fit: 4" IR IR Camera, 0. Lux/F1.2 ( 3.6, 4, 6 mm lens for optional ), 24pcs 5 LEDs 1/3" Sony Effio Color CCD, 650 / 700TVL The DVR for this system is: 16 Channel DHZ Series Containing 4 Pcs HDD, Digital Zoom, 8 channel Realtime or 16 channel half realtime D1 Resolution real-time playback 1. I am also designing my first cctv system. I have 3 other potential clients once I get this one done. I would stay away from Costco systems decent quality but very standard and structured sounds like you need a little more custom set up like myself. I will be bringing my camera's in from a supplier I have been communicating with in China for a long time. More high end equipment but very reasonable price. Not cheap but appears a little better Quality. I will keep you posted. I will be posting my first project here hopefully we will both get a response and some help. Good luck with your system. Chipman
