I have an Avtech KPD-674 and I am now having problems with seeing event information. I tried to look at events last night but sthe DVR howed event information from around 4 days ago when it was daylight - same image over and over. Tried turning off and on and rewinding from last recording. It goes back about 5 minutes them shows the image at this time over and over. I then tried going back using event information screen for last night and it was showing a mauve screen. I did have battery problems and strange things went on with the default daylight setting but thought I was now passed these. Does anybody think a firmware update would help from reading previous posts on the KPD674?

Just in case anybody else has this problem. I did get it to work the default daylight settings were adding an hour to the time. Not sure why as it was months ago. When I put in the real daylight savings it was fine. Lets hope the third battery holds out.

I have had an Avtech KPD674 DVR for just over a year and it no longer keeps time - advancing roughly an hour every 12 hours when off. I have tried changing the battery twice. I would be grateful if somebody knows what is causing this? Do Avtech have any kind of service in the UK or will it be cheaper to buy a new DVR?
