I'm new here, hopefully I posted in the correct spot. I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to use my Sony CX500V as a security camera to record to my computer? I would like to hook it up by the A/V R connection but could do the USB or HDMI if needed. I guess I'm looking for software I could use to control the camera, if possible add motion detecting? The only thing I've found so far is TrackerCam PowerPod-LANC but it's expensive and I don't need to have the pan/tilt option. Thanks
