  8. Hi, I have setup the DVR to record locally to the internal hard drive but want to back up to a NAS drive connected to the network too. At the moment, access is fine to the DVR both internally and externally via mobile device and PC. So basically the NAS drive is on a fixed IP of 192.168.0.2 I have a user called xxx and created a directory on the NAS drive called \xxx\Cams. I have set all the cams to Motion Detect, but still no file is present on the NAS even when the file size is set to 1Mb. I have attached a screen shot. I'm not sure what I need to change/set in order to get a recording onto the NAS. Any advice appreciated, Thanks.
  9. Hi, I am having an issue with various apps in that they only show Cam1 and no others, they all show as 'Buffering'. I know its connecting ok as Cam1 works but can anyone advise? Thanks in advance.

    App only shows 1 camera

Resolved. Only Cam1 had 2nd stream encoding enabled. changed the drop down and all the other cams are now viewable.

Forgot to add, all cameras work fine on port 80 (on PC) but its only on iPhone/Android i get the issue using port 34599.
  13. hi jazzar, you were right, i thought that if activex was installed for one dvr, they all should work. so changed the security settings and then installed the activex again and it works fine now on port 80. thanks for your help.
  14. Hi, I have set up a DVR with an internal ip address of 192.168.1.10 and have setup up port forwarding on my bt modem/router for ports 37777 and 37778 (ports 37777, 37778 and 80 are open). using an iphone app, i can connect on port 37777 successfully. but i need to setup ddns on the dvr, so the only way i can do that is by logging into the dvr from a laptop. when i enter 192.168.1.10 in the web browser (or even the external ip address) all i get is a blank webpage with a title 'Web Access' and no qvis login fields. does anyone know whats wrong with this? thanks in advance.
  15. hi, i can access other qvis dvr settings ok with the same laptop (running vista) but not this dvr, so assuming its not letting me connect on port 80 on this particular dvr?

    QVIS Apollo DVR Problem

Have looked at the Mobile Monitor setting in Net Service, it is enabled and set to 34599 (cant change it either).... So have added this into the router. Port 34599 is now open, but when i try and set the Media Port from 37777 to 34599 in the Network section, it complains about a Port Conflict. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

    QVIS Apollo DVR Problem

Hi Tom, have considered that but wanted to give it a good try first. Ports 80 and 34567 are open and CCTV on port 80 works so router is working but can't understand why port 34567 isn't. I have an old router somewhere so may dig that out
