Modem is huawei echo life hg532
-
It comes up briefly with 'no response'...
-
Just tried MEye and it says Buffering and just stays on that. Does that mean the dvr isn't configured properly?
-
Thanks Tom, which iPhone app will work with this?

I assume media port is different to a mobile port?

Hi, it's iddms lite. It works for my other CCTV on port 37777 usin a different qvis dvr, but this qvis DVR only has port 34567. I have tried changing it with no luck. Works fine via web on port 80 though.

Hi, My mate has got this DVR and have successfully got it working over the internet accessible remotely. Within the network setup of this DVR, it specifies only 1 port, whereas other newer DVRs has a HTTP, TCP and UDP port declared. Newer DVRs, i can access ghe DVR via port 80 on computer (HTTP), and then a different port on phone (TCP). How can i access this Digiguard DVR on a mobile phone via an app - which port do i use? At the mooment, i have declared port 99, which is open, and forwarded, but does not work on an app.

i have entered the information into the section on the dvr control panel: DDNS Type: Dyndns DDNS (other options are private DDNS, NO-IP DDNS, CN99 DDNS) Server IP: freedns.afraid.org Port: 80 Domain Name: Username: Password: Alive Interval: 300 But still when BT change my IP every week, it does not track, I have to manually log into freedns.afraid.org and update the IP address in there. What am i doing wrong? Thanks.
-
Will nvrdns.com track your ip address and self update? My current ISP is changing my ip address almost every week? If it doesnt self update what is the best free/paid dyndns site to do this? Thanks.

I having problems logging into the dvr. I can't login via a specific username and password on the dvr, but the same username and password works on the laptop if I connect from there. Does anyone know what the issue is? Also, this is stopping me from logging in via mobile phone. All the ports are still open and port forwarding is still present.

Do I need to open another port other than 80 for safari and iPhone apps to access the cameras?
-
But it's the same with iPhone apps, they can't connect. I installed active x on IE but only QuickTime for firefox and chrome, or are u saying there is an active x for firefox n chrome?
-
Jus tried Internet explorer....that works! Why am I missing with safari and google chrome?
-
Also to note, on the dvr, i got http on port 80, tcp on port 37777 and udp on port 37778. There is a ddns section which is empty on the dvr, is this right?
-
Sorry I meant tcp on port 37777 and udp on port 37778. Only one entry for each, not 4.
-
Ok have created udp and tcp entries for ports 37777 and port 37778 and assigned to the mac address (so as well as the web service on port 80 pointing to dvr I have 4 more entries) Canyouseeme website sees port 80 and 37777 open but not port 37778. When I log onto web address I get the web service interface I get the cams 1 to 8 on left hand side, when I select the mainstream of any, using firefox I get the Q for QuickTime and nothing more, with google chrome I get the same...anyone suggest anything pls?
-
So do I just duplicate what I added for port 80? Point Ports 37777 and 37778 to the dvr ip address?
-
Forgot to add, dvr uses ports 37777 and 37778, do I need to add these anywhere?
-
Hi, I have tried to access it remotely by the dynamic ip address but have also registered a dyndns name and got the same error. Don't have a static ip address. Is there something missing?
