  1. you have to replace the IR filter (that's day only now) with a semipermisive day/night filter that is megapixel too.
  2. Maybe your mobile ISP doesn't assign private (routed) Internet IP addreses. Put the stick into a laptop and try to traceroute a destination and see where it/how it goes.
  3. but their NVR6000 not come out yet, still in researching.....It really professional NVR on some markets it did!
  4. take a look at the specs of DAHUA NVR6000. It can do 32 MP FullHD, Realtime recording.
  5. bare in mind that bitrate affects your recordings... a bitrate of 2Mbps would produce a lower quality recording then a 8Mbps recording, although framerate and resolution are the same
  6. i would suggest a solution with local storage with a timed backup... what if 4G link fails? what happens then?
  7. are you sure it's ok to put "luck" in front of the security ideea? would you change your car brakes with "lucky" one from eBay?
  8. so get a premium account?! 20 USD too much? or double check - some of the - links? really, invested some 100+ for hardware and you wouldn't spend 20 for lifetime access to 3rd party, compatible software? where's your logic?
  9. don't be so ****y DAHUA's UI (user interface) passwords are different from low level passwords (Embedded root access Linux) but still...
  10. Other solutions: http://www.bahamassecurity.com/cctv-software/dahua-software/livevue-dahua.asp http://www.bahamassecurity.com/cctv-software/dahua-software/dahua-single-view.asp http://www.bahamassecurity.com/cctv-software/dahua-software/dahua-pss-portable.asp http://www.bahamassecurity.com/cctv-software/dahua-software/dahua-simple-view.asp
  11. trial&error in theory, should change... but better try (on remote, you have to press the "add" button)
  12. It has to do with the RTSP server, RTSP client, sync on frames of H.264 etc. But why so eager to use VLC?

    QC804 NVR Q-See

dither: time for motion to engage an event latch: time for the event to be on record-latch: i presume the total time of the recording for the event
  14. Use IE, PSS or dedicated mobile software for fast answer. VLC connects to RTSP feed, which, sometimes and under certain conditions, can be slow.
  15. take the top cover off the camera and test without it (might be IR reflection from it and too much light flooding the sensor) also, try to cover the image sensor... does it do the same? you'll have to figure out if it's a power related problem or an image/IR control related problem
  16. btw, why did you buy it from eBay?
  17. I've tested NVR 3216 from DAHUA with OnVif no-name cameras (based on DaVinci) and it worked. My thoughts are that you cameras crash, not the software. You should test if (when) the software stops working, if you still can connect to the cameras (via Web) and via RTSP (telnet port 554). Cheers!
  18. DAHUA branded camera bought on eBay? Out of warranty and support - through DAHUA's website statement. Ever contacted DAHUA for a reseller for your zone for one of their products and they didn't answer? 3rd, are you sure that DAHUA doesn't deliver products to (only) well known/good resellers that have a future, so you'll not look for support on the Sun? But Apple will not provide updates for a stolen/cloned product, right? Same goes here... since products are bought from China, you will never know if it's a DAHUA clone or a DAHUA original product. (BTW, would you ever buy an iPhone from China and expect software updates?) The fact is simple: people try to outrun local dealers; people go for cheap security, but they pay lots of money for a smartphone. BTW, for B44KWZ, is Ukraine in EU? or you just faked your location (for some free support, maybe)?
  19. You need to "sniff" the protocol of the old cash registers and, somehow, emulate it in your new setup.

    Camera IR leds malfunction

or better, use a fixed 12V power supply (Switched-mode power supply, to be exactly )

    Q-SEE NVR QC804

if you don't need the PoE function of the NVR, you can plug the other camera into the other port (the single one) of the NVR using a bare switch NVR looks like a 3204/3216-P, so it should have Onvif support bare in mind to manually setup the camera with IPs from the same class as your NVR (if you are plugging it into the separate port) or the same class as the settings of the internal PoE router/switch (settings can be found in menu), if you plug it in one of the PoE ports although it is a switch/router, it is separated from the main network
  22. Since no RS485 interface on ACTI, you need additional wires. Also, you need fixed focused lens (for autofocus, you need an aditional board that will do that)
  23. it's not the first time you ask for firmware updates - last time you got the same answer from a couple of members: firmware updates for DAHUA are hard to impossible to find (if i remember well, that was your first question around here) well, for that difference probably you would've got the update instantly... now you have to wait for someone to give it to you (or dig it by yourself through the web)- but, as i do know, DAHUA's resellers don't release updates directly on WEB - so that means waiting for someone to make an "in-house" update package
  24. probably well know DAHUA resellers (like QSEE) are more expensive then alibaba (DUH!)... so people go the cheap way, blinded by the price and then they start spamming and searching the forums for help; sometimes, i think the price difference is less than the time spent on searching/digging but, just my opinion!
