Any IOS level Cisco or mid range Juniper should be able to. You won't be able to do it with any from Linksys or D-Link. -

With a good router you can block a connection after a period of time. -
And for those that don't handle cable that offen, telling the differance between the good and bad stuff is pretty easy. If you cut the sheathing off and the braid untangles almost instantly then it's the cheap stuff. If you cut it back and it keeps it's braid, and the braid looks nice and tight then it's the good stuff.

I've used thier wireless transmitters. I wouldn't use motion detection (they are prone to interfearance) and I wouldn't use them for critcal use. If something bad will happen if that camera is down then I would go talk to trango.

Getting video over rough terrain

A few of our resellers use the canopy systems and they swear by them. -
The basic answer is look at the comman thread of GUI's in the industry and do it the opposite. Hiding advanced features from the user just makes sure the user will never use them. You are designing software for a PC. Don't reinvent the wheel.

Also, if download isn't important you can sometimes get the download/upload speed swapped. There isn't any techincal reason that download is higher the upload, just billing.

You'd have to set it to /ftp or write a php script to handle making a page showing all of the files.

He'll be away for the next few days.

Junk it and buy a new one. But if you insist on doing it then do not touch the tube under any circumstances. It's a massive capasitor.

People. I would like to remind you all of the forum's rules. One of which is that non-retail pricing is not to be posted outside of the dealer forum. -
Alas, the nature of people shows that new threads will be started with questions asked before. And I'm not saying to never bring back a thread, all I ask is that there be good reason to.
-
Jasper, please let sleeping threads lie.

It's going to depend on the type of connector. Generally your meter should read 5 volts or 12 volts for motherboard connectors.

You're ISP is a single homed customer from Level 3 is what I'm guessing. Cogent (our provider) and Level 3 had a peering agreement and it's been disloved. It may be a few days for some of the routers to get around it.

There was a brief bit of downtime for some hardware maintance but that was only for two brief bits of time. There was some extended downtime during Hurricane Rita.

This edit has mixed results. If the router is using QoS then you will see an effect. (And if the network is using QoS you'd also be a jerk.)

Having played with a resolution testing chart and screwed up my tests.... I can pretty safely say that you could fudge the numbers with ease for resolution.
-
Firewire just isn't designed for long distance runs. 6 ft, maybe 8 ft is your cap.

You may want to ask why exactly you can't get the cameras with audio. It may even be for legal (state laws) reasons.

Could also look for a registry cleaner. That would explain slow windows loading time, probley not general slow proformance. Might want to take a look at the virtrual memory settings.
-
Heat = Slow Could be a bad processor or cooling unit.

The frame rate it supports is based on resolution. In theory it's 120 at 320 by 240. 30 fps at 640 x 480.
