  1. recently my work had a security system installed at our place of business, its setup with a static i.p address provided to us on a block of 5 we have from at&t / T1 as our provider, this is not behind a firewall or router of any kind at our point of installation, its a direct open i.p without any port filtering or blockage since installation we have received 2 notices of " virus " alerts... one from our provider at&t regarding virus being broadcast from the static i.p address the DVR is on I guess my question is, with remote " internet access " for off site monitoring enabled on this DVR what does the box itself broadcast out on to the WAN if anything? what could be causing the virus alert issue from our provider and additional e-mail server admins that have been in contact with us Anthony / ISP WEST
