Hello everyone, I have an Intellex DV16000 that is running on an embedded Windows 2000 OS. There are no recovery CD for the machine and it keeps asking for the OS CD for repairs. A colleague of mines used another Intellex Recovery CD's on the machine to sort it out and not it boots into the OS, but the licenses needs to be applied (There's no license.dat in the C:/Windows/Intellex) Here is the remaining information on the system:- Smart Item Code:- D60025D-036 DV16000, 2.5, DELUXE, 360GB, NTSC The Original Intel motherboard has been replaced with a Gigabyte. I have the machine SW Key, MAC and Serials I also have the 2.6 & 3.2 Recovery CD's, as well as a 3.1 and a 4.0. Can anyone advise me on how to attempt to recover the machine as it is to a proper working order. Thanks,

Need Pelco DX7000 Advice
Ronald.Goolcharan posted a topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Good day to everyone, I have recently acquired a Pelco DX7000 DVR (Just sitting outside in my storage room, haven't powered it up or opened the lid, just gotta get a key to open it later) My question(s) is this:- 1. Do I have to source the recovery disk from Pelco (I have seen post where someone stated that you can use the DX7100 recovery ISO from the Pelco FTP site)? 2. As the system stands, can I upgrade? 3. If yes to the above, what would you all recommend when upgrading the system, i.e Motherboard(s), RAM, HDD (any particular brand), etc? Any other advice you all want to recommend, please go right ahead. Thanks, Ronald -
Hi, I have two of these Intellex in the office, One powers up but with no video (I'm thinking the motherboard has failed on the VGA port, plus an external AGP video card doesn't work as well) >Any advice for the above? The second Intellex reboots fairly often. >Recommendations on how to deal with that one as well? Thanks, Ronald

Greetings to all, I'm Ronald. 26 From the Caribbean. I work for a company here that deals with TYCO products and sales, one of the key products being the Intellex line of DVR's I've had little dealings with the DVR, a colleague who was with the company use to see about all the problems that arose from clients and up until recently, I've been tossed into his shoes in dealing with these matters (My colleague has left the company). I come from an IT background, having knowledge in CompTIA A+ Nevertheless, even I will encounter problems that I will have little knowledge of and in need of advice from those who will have more experience than myself. Thanks.
