  1. Ok well I stripped the unit the KBS3 and started tracing some pins Dedicated Micros seem to have used the MMJ 6 pin connector as follows. Pin 1 V+ Pins 2 5 and 6 V- pins 3 and 4 data I think Ill be back asking more questions very soon I'm sure. Power connected confirmed correct.
  2. Hi, I hope someone here can help me, this is a very specific request. I have a KBS3 controller from dedicated micros, I have a different brand DVR. Can the KBS3 be interfaced with a ptz cam directly? My dvr has ptz control but the on screen gui is dismal and doesn't have all functions on it. My ptz cam is a Genie dvr is avtech The RS485 socket used on the DM controller is a dec MMJ 6 pin http://pinouts.ru/connector/6_pin_MMJ_female_connector.shtml Does anyone know the pin designations that DM use on this socket? If someone knows the power supply voltage and correct pins? I have access to some test gear and should be able to use it for my needs once I can safely power it up, or at least find out if it wont do what I want. Any help would be very much appreciated.
