Hi Carib How was it going with this; i was planning something similar in 2008 but in those times adsl was very expensive in colombia and bandwidht too small; now adsl is better here but still have the same problem; upload speed is poor (10% of total bandwidht); for example if you buy a adsl service of 1mb (most popular), you have 900kbps for down and only 100kbps for up; and this is the problem; you have only 10 kbyte for up This is not the only problem, there is ddns problem, ip cameras are always behind the router, so you need port forwarding, and you need ddns if you want to see the camera through internet, most of the times DDNS service have connection problems, even pay service. And im agree with other guys, milestone and exacqvision are not the best solution for this, maybe cameramanager or similar. See u!
