Hi everyone!
Ime new on here and to the whole CCTV world in general but I am looking for some pointers from the more knowledgeable among you.
I am a sparky by trade so I have had some minimal experience with installing CCTV systems and other bits and bobs.
My parents own a small holding and are looking for a CCTV system to cover the area, 4 cameras will suffice so I only need a 4 port DVR but my problem is which one....
I have had some play time with one of these:

And it seemed a great system and easy to work with but I was wondering if there was anything more suitable at a cheaper cost?
Also looking for recommendations regarding cameras. They need to be suitable for outside use as well as night time which I think most are now anyways?
