I bought a samsung shr 5042 recently. I set it up using the remote accessing the menu without any issues. I was able to use all functions and features using the remote and the buttons on the unit.
But I have tried to access the menu today 8 weeks later and the DVR is unresponsive when using the remote and the buttons on the DVR itself, the only function that works is the DVD open close feature.
The system is on I can see the red recording light on, all three cameras can be viewed but that is it.
There is no mention of this in the manual.
Can anyone offer any advice as I am out of ideas.
