The Mobotix camera M range is the perfect camera for you, check out the article on my blog http://www.videophonie.be If you then head over to Mobotix, you will see they actually have implemented this feature with success, no problem with headlights...

The Wifi band is around 2,5 GHz, so do not expect more problems than with a 2,4 ghz phone handset.. The bricks are fine normally, metal sheet is really to be avoided but it seems to work with your regular phone...

Check out the Mobotix dome, which has an incredible amount of features, no zoom (only a digital).
