Hi Kawz, you needed 4 cameras for the warehouse surveillance that will run away with central server room.In this case why don't you try for IR illuminator cameras. They are more reliable, exact pricing can be found out on internet.IR illuminator surveillance cameras are designed as well as they are available in plenty and may be cheap according to your budget.Axton one of the pioneers in this domain can provide you with exact specification and exact pricing and have variety of the range of cameras for security purpose. What do IR illuminator cameras have to do with the question he asked? Any camera can be run back to a central location. There are many widely available cheap cameras on the market, but I fail to see how this helps answer his question. He mentioned that he needed four cameras for warehouse.Night vision ir illuminator cameras will definitely have advantage over other normal camers in warehouse. Also ir illuminator cameras will provide good performance in all weathers along with long distance vision with quality image as compared with other normal cameras.

Hey there, I think you should go for an ir security camera, as you would need it round the clock. It would help you to get clear video at every point of time. They would also work well in low light, as well.
-
Though I have not used it, but with the specifications mentioned, it seems to be effective. With IR illuminator, it will give you good quality images even in the dark and in every weather condition. However, it completely depends on the place where you install it and the purpose for it.

CCTV cameras are mostly used for security purposes, but at the same time should not hamper anyone's privacy. It is good only till when it is used for viewing the property, but not beyond that.

One of my friends has installed IR illuminators from Axton and he said that it works well. I think now I could finally decide on it. Thanks Peter........... -
Hey there, even I am looking out for a worthwhile infrared camera for my place. I want to install at the backyard. Not able to decide which one to buy. Please help me out with your suggestions. Should I go for a wireless camera? Really confused...........

The IR security cameras can be hidden and made invisible. You can hide it in small bushes or on a tree so that it is not visible. But remember not to bury it inside the ground or cover it completely.
-
I think that low level of radiation wouldn't affect the eyes of the baby, so you don't need to worry about that. Small amount of IR light would cause no harm to the eyes. But even then if you are worried, you can disable the IR on the camera.
-
Hey, I think hiding the camera in the bush would also be a better option. That ways, you will get a clear and a closer image of the person without even letting him know the presence of the camera. Or you can also use an IR camera which would be suitable for the range.

IR or no IR in rooms with black light lighting
AmillenBlake replied to chaz's topic in Security Cameras
Hey Chaz, I think you should use IR illumination. If you go for cameras, you will need to illuminate the place with an additional source, but using and IR illuminator would give you the benefits of improved picture and video clarity at night without the need of additional source of illumination. Also, it will work efficiently in all weathers even. -

It depends on manufacturer of the project, what specification he takes into consideration and what are the company standards.
