I DONT SEE YOUR ATTACHMENT BUT I ASSUME YOU NEED CONTROL OVER MULTIPLE BUILDINGS YOUR BEST BET WOULD BE TO PUT NETWORK PTZ CAMERAS IN EACH AREA AND I SAW A COMPUTER GUY ONCE USE THIS DEVICE THAT AS LONG AS IT IS WITHIN LINE OF SITE YOU CAN HAVE IT CONNCETED WIRELESSLY TO COMPLETE A NETWORK IF THIS INTERESTS YOU LET ME KNOW AND I CAN TRY TO GET YOU MORE INFO
-
YOU MIGHT WANT TO TRY OPENEYE THEY ARE VERY HIGH END PC BASED THEY MANUFACTURE THE HONEYWELL IFUSION SYSTEM AND THE TOSHIBA DVR'S THEY HAVE ONE UNIT FOR UPTO 64 CAMS AND THEY JUST CAME OUT WITH A MATRIX SYSTEM THAT INTEGRATES REAL SMOOTH. YOU DEFINATELY WANT A MATRIX LIKE ONE OF THE PREVIOUS POSTS MENTIONED.I HAPPEN TO KNOW THE OPENEYE PEOPLE REAL WELL. THEIR SUPPORT IS AWSOME, I CAN SAY I HAVE SOLD A LOT OF THEIR DVR'S IN THE LAST YEAR AND THEY ARE TOP NOTCH !! CHECK THEIR SITE OPENEYE.NET

I BEG TO DIFFER FROM THE PREVIOUS TWO POSTS GESECURITY MAKES A VERY NICE DVR AND SOME RELIABLE IR CAMERAS THAT CAN BE HAD FOR UNDER 1500 IN TOTAL

PANASONIC MAKES A SERIES OF NETWORK CAMERAS THAT ARE PRETTY NICE AND THEY SELL AN OPTIONAL SOFTWARE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO RECORD AT THE LOCATION THAT IS BEING MONITORED http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/vModelList?storeId=15001&catalogId=13401&catGroupId=25097&cacheProgram=11002&cachePartner=7000000000000005702 THIS WOULD BE THE RECORDING SOFTWARE http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/vModelDetail?storeId=15001&catalogId=13401&itemId=93695&catGroupId=25098&modelNo=&cacheProgram=11002&cachePartner=7000000000000005702 I SELL A LOT OF THESE WITH GREAT FEEDBACK

AS FAR AS WIRE YOU NEED COAX FOR VIDEO 18/2 FOR POWER AND 1 PAIR OF CAT 5 FOR CONTROL IT IS BEST NOT TO MIX WIRES I HAVE SEEN SOME CHEAPOS RUN ONE CAT 5 AND USE ONE PAIR FOR POWER AND ONE FOR CONTROL.....NOT A GOOD IDEA RUN SEPERATE AND YOU'LL SAVE HEADACHES
-
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO RUN IT STRAIGHT THROUGH THE SOFTWARE THOUGH YOU DO NEED CONTROL WIRE TO GO INTO THE RS PORT ON THE DVR FROM THE PTZ SO FAR AS USING BOTH PTZ TOGETHER THAT SHOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE EITHER. GE DOES SELL SOME CONVERSION DEVICES TO MAKE THIS AN EASIER PROCESS THAT MIGHT COST LESS THAT A KTD-405 MY SUGGESTION IS TO CALL THEM THEIR TECH SUPPORT IS PRETTY GOOD 888-GESECURITY EXPLAIN THE WHOLE SITUATION AND YOU MIGHT END UP WITH SOME GOOD SUGGESTIONS SO FAR AS INTEGRATING PELCO AND GE JUST FROM PAST EXPERIENCE WHEN IT COMES TO INTEGRATION COMPANIES TEND TO PASS THE BUCK (PELCO BLAMES GE, GE BLAMES PELCO) SO HEADS UP FOR THAT GOOD LUCK

I PERSONALLY DONT LIKE SPECO BUT FOR THE KIND OF COVERAGE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR YOU PROBABLY SHOULD UPGRADE TO THEIR VARIFOCAL CAMERAS WHICH I BELIEVE IS THE H.E.A.T. SERIES SO THAT YOU CAN REALLY ADJUST AND FINE TUNE ONCE THEY ARE MOUNTED I PERSONALLY PREFER OTHER COMPANIES THAT PROVIDE THE SAME PRODUCT BETTER QUALITY BUT CRAPPIER PACKAGING FOR MUCH LESS MONEY

How Can I watch my home with a wireless camera from work

PANASONIC MAKES SOME REALLY INEXPENSIVE INDOOR NETWORK CAMERAS AND THE BEAUTY IS THAT THEY WILL HOST IT FOR FREE SO YOU DONT NEED TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON HIGHER COST INTERNET SERVICE -
IN REGARDS TO THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TV AND CCTV MONITORS. MOST MANUFACTURERS CLAIM THAT THE NORMAL LIFE FOR A TV IS 5,000 VIEWABLE HOURS WHILE A PROFESSIONAL CCTV MONITOR IS 50,000 HOURS. UNFORTUNATELY MOST MANUFACTURER WARRANTY'S EXPIRE LONG BEFORE 50,000 HOURS PASS, SO THIS IS REALLY YET TO BE PRACTICALLY PROVEN. HOWEVER THE ISSUE OF BURN IN (WHERE THE MONITOR ACTUALLY SHOWS CERTAIN PARTS OF A PICTURE THAT DO NOT CHANGE EVEN AFTER ITS OFF) OCCURS A LOT FASTER ON A REGULAR TV. ALSO MOST CCTV MONITORS ARE LEFT ON CONSTANTLY AND THAT IS WHERE THESE DIFFERENCES WILL BE OBVIOUS. ASIDE FROM THE RESOLUTION ISSUE IF THE MONITOR WILL BE SHUT OFF EVERY NIGHT THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH A TV.

UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS A DOUBLE EDGED SWORD I SELL A LOT OF THE TATUNG IR VARIFOCAL DOMES AND THE CLARITY IS REAL GOOD A LOT OF COMPANYS MAKE ONE LIKE IT BUT I HAPPEN TO THINK THEIRS IS ONE OF THE BEST THE IR RANGE IS ONLY ABOUT 30' THE PROBLEM WITH IR CAMERAS IS THAT IR IS STILL A CHEAPO SOLUTION YOU DONT SEE SONY PANASONIC OR PELCO MAKE IR CAMERAS BECAUSE IT IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL SOLUTION YOUR BEST BET IS TO GET THE HOMEOWNER TO INVEST IN SOME OUTDOOR LIGHTING AND GET A DAY NIGHT OUTDOOR DOME FROM ONE OF THE HIGHER END COMPANIES SEE GE DR-1800-VFA3 OR SONY SSCCD73V THEY BOTH ARE COLOR BY DAY AND GO B/W AT NIGHT WITHOUT ANY IR COMPENSATION BUT HAVE PRETTY GOOD PICTURE WITHOUT ANY MAJOR LIGHTING. THEY DO HOWEVER NEED A MINIMAL AMOUNT OF LIGHT OTHERWISE IT WILL BE COMPLETELY BLACK AT NIGHT TO GO BACK TO YOUR ORIGINAL QUESTION TO FIND AN IR THAT GOES 100-200 FEET IS VERY DIFFICULT YOU WILL FIND SOME COMPANYS ADVERTISING CERTAIN MODELS UPTO XXX THEY ARE USUALLY STRAIGHT OUT LYING OR STRETCHING THE TRUTH. THE ONLY WAY TO GET THAT KIND OF RANGE FROM AN IR CAMERA OR JUST PLAIN EMITTER IS TO GET SOMETHING SO BIG THE HOMEOWNER WILL NEVER GO FOR IT BECAUSE OF HOW UGLY IT WILL LOOK WHICH TAKES ME BACK TO GET A NICE DAY NIGHT DOME AND HAVE THE CUSTOMER GET SOME LIGHTING PUT IN AT LEAST THEY CAN MAKE IT ATTRACTIVE AND CHOOSE TO THEIR TASTE AND NOT HAVE A CAMERA THAT LOOKS LIKE A TELESCOPE HANGING FROM THEIR HOUSE

THE ISSUE AND FOCUS SHOULD NOT BE THAT MUCH ON PRICE EVEN WITH YOUR BUDGET ISSUE. THE PROBLEM IS IF AND WHEN YOU START HAVING ISSUES WITH THESE CAMERAS IF THIS WEBSITE IS GOING TO HONOR THEIR WARRANTEE (IF THEY OFFER ANY) I HAVE BOUGHT AND SOLD MANY CHEAP CAMERAS AND SOME OF THEM ARE GREAT BUT NO MATTER HOW GOOD. SOME OF THEM WILL COME DEFECTIVE OR GO DEAD FOR NO REASON A SHORT TIME LATER. THE ISSUE IS ALWAYS WHETHER THEY WILL HONOR THEIR WARRANTY I AM A RESELLER AND CAN EASILY SAY BUY LESS CAMERAS FROM A REPUTABLE FIRM AND SPEND A LITTLE MORE YOU WILL END UP WITH LESS HEADACHE IN THE LONG RUN
-
GE HAS REALLY GOOD SUPPORT AND THEY HAVE THE DIGIA WHICH IS REAL CHEAP ALSO YOU CAN PUT SOME DAY NIGHT DOMES FOR THE OUTSIDE FROM GE THEY DO MAKE AN EXVEIW CAMERA THAT IS SUPPOSED TO FIX ANY LIGHT COMPENSATION OR FILTERING ISSUES ITS EXPENSIVE AT ABOUT BUT THEY SAY IT IS WORTH IT DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THESE PARTS DIGI-4-160 4 CHANNEL DVR DR-1800-VFA3 DAY NIGHT DOME DR-2000-VFA3 THIS IS THE EXVEIW DAY NIGHT DOME YOU CAN EASILY STAY BELOW YOUR 3000.00 BUDGET WITH THESE IF YOU NEED HELP FINDING A GOOD PRICE ON THESE PARTS LET ME KNOW I CAN HELP
