Thanks, I dont want the same old couple samples that are all over the Internet, I want some real world footage, like we do with every other camera on the planet including $25 cameras
-
Kool, finally someone that is not afraid
-
Why do you want to control the DVR mouse? Will the DVR's remote admin software not work? What type of tour is it (sequencing or PTZ). If sequencing then why not just create the same using the remote software?
-
Kool. Now maybe we can finally see some images and videos of these amazing cameras Nobody else is willing to step up the plate.

Are you running it on an Atom Server like theotherguys?

Its not a concern for me as the end consumer. I just had the issue of trying to find the prices before buying. If I couldnt find them, I would not have bought Avigilon, simple as that. The move toward servicing the smaller end of the market as well as the upper, should be a concern for partners though. If they do produce a public MSRP list in time, then those who have sold above it may have some interesting chats with their customers. nobody questions Avilone on this forum .. dont do it .. they ban u fast

Can Anyone Recommend An Outdoor IP Rated Camera Microphone?
rory replied to Fiona's topic in Security Cameras
though one could weatherproof the cheap one .. if they cant afford the louroe -
Its the lights. Need a different camera. Some [normally very cheap models] have issues with that type of lighting. Also try disabling the IR by disconnecting the power to the LED ring and see if that makes a difference. Ive seen this with cheap CMOS cams before. Your specs dont say if its CCD or CMOS.

Can Anyone Recommend An Outdoor IP Rated Camera Microphone?
rory replied to Fiona's topic in Security Cameras
Yeah but not weatherproof Although you could follow the design of the Louroe Verifact-E and use a weatherproof gangbox, with a hole underneath and seal it a little, maybe with some kind of foam filter (like for a computer fan) or maybe a piece of thick screen (I think the V-E have a metal vent), never used their outdoor ones, but nice thing about their other models are they are plug and play and fit into the environment you need it for - eg. Verifact-A looks like a heat detector, install them on drop tiles in stores, etc ... and they are perfect - most will never think they are mics. Ive run them 100' with 2 pair telco wire before. And an example, in a cash box at a gas station you can hear everything out at the pumps, in the cash box, and in the store. -
Its a Hong Kong Reseller .. same reseller actually .. you would need to ask them Maybe the ads were put up at different times. Maybe TINA gets a better deal Another thing to look at though ... the image they have for that DVR is NOT the Dahua HF-A. This is the HF-A

+1 for Louroe And they have outdoor mics also. But they are a US company so may not be available in Australia. Great mics for CCTV though. -
no problem
-
No. I dont sell product and I could not compete with China either way. My pages are simply setup to direct people to USA affiliates when they ask .. what DVR to buy. Linovision is a china company. In fact I have links to them and their software on my site, under Dahua Downloads. My point was .. Dahua is the brand I write software and articles for, its the brand that covers my site with pictures, documents and manufacturer software ... so yes, good brand.

at this point ive moved up to 960H Sony Effio cameras. The picture blows the monalisa off the map
-
Check the details and it says TDN. Seems that is a typo on the list page, there are many typos on Manufacturer sites.
-
Yes they use Dahua DVRs.

what's the future of DVR cards and software
rory replied to anniegmail's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
within 10 years analog and IP will be gone, there will be something new as both are old technology. -
Regarding alarm popup, is this using the PSS software? If so, see the fix here: Scroll down to number 6. http://www.bahamassecurity.com/articles/dahua-pss-tips.asp

QVIS Apollo HD 8 chan - Search for motion detection?
rory replied to zs1's topic in Digital Video Recorders
It makes only 1 file, either motion or normal record. Go to schedule and check both normal and motion and enable for all days and copy to all channels you want this for. If using firmware 2.608 also adjust the encode settings for Motion Record. And lastly make sure motion detection is enabled in the "Detect" settings (default will be). -

BTW this is only useful for certain areas, in my case everything is just a blur with both of them and there is obviously no street view or birds eye view.
