Which General Purpose ladders are best
rory replied to Numb-nuts's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Best thing to invest in for jobs like that is a harness of sorts, at least down here they always have some kind of life but never any safety harness .. tying yourself off with a rope is risky in itself .. but least it makes you feel like you wont fall, least that works for me -

I would have just hired jeromephone to deal with it, so I could get on with other work -

Warehouse normally supplies the lift, such as a forklift with a cage. Nobody is going to have a 30-40 foot ceiling without a way to get up and change the light bulbs. -
another murder this morning, lost track of the count now. they pulled up along side a vehicle and just shot it to pieces, right outside one of the main shopping centers here. oh an yeah analog video is going to bring the murderers to justice!

I still remember England when it was, England. Nice thing about living here is I don't have be politically correct. I lived in the South of England from age 10-16. Was good times when I was living there. Crime was virtually non existent also. Other than the odd bully who's backside I had to kick on occasion. Even spent a year living/working at Heathrow Airport (southall) in London at age 19, went back a couple years ago and the place is literally a ghetto now.

No I doubt it, if I was Irish, Cuban, or possibly Indian then I would be set in the US Even the green card lottery for our country is pretty small compared to others. I could move to England but to be honest Im not into the whole Islam way of life. so, the Sun has to do for now, just gotta duck when we hear fireworks Crime is everywhere though.

Any business really concerned about security should have a generator anyway.

APC has decent UPS but as mentioned the average consumer one wont last that long. I only use a UPS if the client has a generator, without it they need to spent alot for battery backup that will last (and cant jimmy rig a car battery for a customer, but you could try it for yourself LOL). Otherwise main concern should at least be voltage protection using the voltage regulator by itself, or built into a UPS.

That cert is just from Sept 2011, so hardly a long time. Simple, just dont use https in images, can you even grasp that simple solution? Guess not, obviously its above your pay grade. -

need to change it from https to http so others can see it .. for example the https comes up with an error in chrome .. otherwise nice images and nice neighborhood FYI. You can argue till the cows come home, this is all I was saying. Do whatever you like though, just means people wont see your images. -

Absolutely no harm especially in this case .. the only point I was making, even if its just several million like me and not a billion with the latest certs updated yesterday, they wont see the images with the https tag without first opening (in chrome) and accepting the certificate. -

using the latest chrome: Guess your computer only excepts CIF images mine and a billion others using the latest chrome. It was only a helpful suggestion. When posting images using https without a valid certificate the user will not be able to see it in the thread without opening it in a new window and accepting the risk, if they are using an updated browser. its a simple security measure built into the browsers now. So the resolution is to not use https in the image url. -
