Here are the SnapShots from this Camera:
-
you should use an Intel Chipset ... not the CPU itself ... but you can use SIS or VIA chipset for the GV250 ..
-
Ive never tested it with 16 cameras, but with 13 cameras at 640x480 Im getting true real time, or at least it seems ..
-
I hope they do ... they could have killed the poor guy .. they need some bahamian style justice when thery catch them .. http://www.jonesbahamas.com/?c=45&a=8476

Not looking for a PTZ dome like that, a regular dome ... basically i would buy a Pano if I wanted a PTZ with those features ...
-
anyone got a link ..? Is it Wide Dynamic, True Day Night, Low Lux with Exview, OSD menu with programmable Protocols ..?? Also, is it just similar to the GE CyberScout? I have seen a South Korean Dome with a Zoom Lens and all the works, only thing it was missing was PT and Wide Dynamic ..
-
Their recording itself was pretty shabby probably low res, and the images werent low lux, though it was kind of dim .. maybe not True Day Night cameras being used in that location ...
-
yes im still lost ... i dont know how i found this post . lOL hey monster check out my new site linked below ... spent last 5 days straight getting it all up and running . ..

DVR card and software for a perfectionist!
rory replied to MattVidionics's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
DigiFlower, Anykeeper .. the others ive seen arent worth mentioning .. but there may be others .. i still like Geo, even though i come from the GE (Kalatel) side which always has had the Disk Map feature Local and Remotely ... Iview didnt have the Diskmap either .. Eclipse does which my colleague mostly uses, he also likes the time line .. but ill cut my losses with that to get higher quality images .. and something i can customise like crazy )))) (for now ...) -
DVR card and software for a perfectionist!
rory replied to MattVidionics's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Ive always found it strange how the Expensive Higher Quality DVR cards dont have the Disk Map (what I call your Time Line ) while the budget cards do .. DigiFlower has it (also sold under Eclipse), and as you see AnyKeeper has it, so do a bunch of other budget cards. It cant be that hard a feature to add it ... anyway, good luck and let us know what you find .. if I got the SDK for Geo I would try some stuff .. but who knows when that will be -
H.264 and MPEG4-ASP is not as high quality as the previous Fast MPEG4 or Geo MPEG4, plus H.264 is maxed out to 240fps in Geo. 7.0x Systems have some issues with 720x480 where on the Web Cam Side it has black borders around the images when the source is set to 720x480.

Yeah id always suggest giving the vendor/distributor the exact model number you want so you are guarenteed to get what you need. if you need help with model numbers ask on this forum someone will be able to help. Rory

What PC's are you using for your Geo Systems?
rory replied to libertysurveillance's topic in Geovision
Do you have a link for that? Im using an AMD 2.0Ghz with a Via Chipset for my GV250 and no issues at 720x480 or 640x480. Rory -
I will try, I cant test it on my PC though as my Video Card doesnt do that res ..
-
I hear you .. that does suck big time, there's people like that everywhere .. just make sure to document everything, if you didnt put on the quote that they were guarenteed this or that, then it shouldnt mean anything in court. There's plenty more fish in the sea, or clients .. basically, though I dont know US Law (or Bahamian law either) I would think that unless you sign your name to something then they dont have a foot to stand on .. I would cut them off and have no further interaction with their company at all. If they ask about warranties or product support, then hand it over to the distributor so you can cut loose from them alltogether.

the only thing i can think of is a PTZ that zooms in on the entry when a car goes through, and zooms back out after its passed. I doubt even a 7-10 Megepixel camera will let you zoom in 300' to read a licence plate, but even if it did, there arent any like that in the CCTV world yet, made to work with DVRs, and if there were, it would have to be mostly still images due to the image size. Plus then there is the night time capture problems asociated with those existing type of cameras. So no it doesnt exist.

Dont know, but you could use a Router and DDNS account entered in that. http://www.cctvforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=3287

Use View Source, its in the Javascript. Also, which IR camera are you talking about?
-
Just that an Day Night IR camera needs to be set up at night ..
-
that has to be it then .. unless there is a switch over adjustment from color to BW but that would be on the camera board .. can you scan the manual and email me it? Or give that a try .. the camera is mounted I take it or you could test it inside a room ..
-
you want to look for the IR power adjustment, that is what controls the amount of IR that is put out.
-
yes, basically.
-
sticking with version 7.04 for now .. the addtional features dont bother me much, or most people, except the new codecs would be nice to save HDD space, but quality is higher with what we have now. There is apparently a fix for a couple issues they have when using 720x480 resolution. Check out my skins for Geo if you havent already. If you use PAL i do plan to make a version for that.

Yeah its just from a real cheap Digital Camera (not a Video Camera though it does have a video recording feature) .. one of those Cmos target Specials .. cant see a thing in low light .. or even in indoor lighting .. but day time and all the other features are cool .. for the price that is .. this is just some code i found online for moving around the image zoomed in, i edited it so I could click in and out .. it's for my real estate plans and surveys online .. just had to add in some photos to check them out Yeah basically Covi does it in the camera, but still requires external software & PC to make use of the MegaPixel quality anyway. Whether they use the Sony MP Block Cams or not, not sure, but they did make a good idea work .. though its over a year or so old now and doesnt look like it really took off ?? PS. this is a $90 MP camera .. kind of shows you how easy it is to flam if one was to be so inclinded on the internet using such a cheap camera as this is .. look at my new Great Technology LOL ..Yup, no night vision whatso ever .. but hey I can play MP3s ..
