them nails man. thats the 2 scars on my head, hair wont grow back, and no its not just old age Things here we have to watch out for is, nails (everywhere), high voltage not secured just sticking up everywhere, no tape nothing, and the darn heat will kill yah in the summer especially ... i use to do on average 2 alarm installs a day in normal 3 bedroom single story homes (all concrete in and out, not sheetrock like in the US!), in the summer months, and that was by myself most of the time ... basically in attics all day long ..

-
ok, im still waiting to here back from Ge .. i sent them my version numbers etc .. the DSR2000 definately has the room for a full PC power supply though .. but the client doesnt have time for that mod .. TigerDirect has some Recertified 160GB 5400 HDDs so we will probably just get those .

This camera will beat the one i have by far. More iR and High Res. You can get the domes in various lenses also, and the domes come with a clear dome cover by default. There is also the WZ15 without the IR that has a varifocal lens. I understand, it is also more appropriate for a pole for example, than a dome camera.
-
what version do you have ? version #
-
let us know what its like, its apparently a high res BW bullet with IR. I havent tested it yet but have had good reviews. Its 13LEDs so dont expect a huge distance ... but its better than my Provideo 6LEDs also, why the bullet, why not the dome?
-
yes thnks, you didnt get my reply? thanks Rory
-
oh lawd i feel your stress Ok sure the first monitor was not somehow connected to that keyboard directly? Have you trried just powering down and up again? Not all muxes auto find the video, the more basic versions require a restart. Rory

i was kiddin bout the right button I made an asp script before that made it harder to save images from a web page, not javascript though ..

I dont see it happening with a gas station with, say 6 lanes. It may catch 15% of the car plates if you are lucky, not too mention you need a very good PTZ, eg WD, to block out the glare from the car headlights at night. It is cheaper to just add 3 or even 6 fixed box cameras.

I wish I could get some more shots ... soon, very soon by the way that is heavily compressed video saved over the internet from a GE Stand alone DVR, so imagine how good it looks on the analogue monitor Notice the driveway cam, with all the vehicles, that jeep on the top left, you can see right inside .. and though there is some small garden lighting in that snapshot as they were having a party, even then it is almost pitch dark. There's TOO much IR to get licence plates though as you can see the glare on those, but thats not what we were aiming for
