all cop cameras are horrible, i used them for several months in the beginning and I havent seen anything as bad as them ,, and recently a client of mine bought a bunch of them and was still the same, crap cameras. all in all, not worth it. Just get a BW bullet and save the extra $100. -

If you mean the COP day night OEM camera, it doesnt come close to any brand names, not even close to Provideo or hunt. Basically stay away from it, unless thats all you can afford. -
i imagine they have a generator with that many systems, and then just have to make sure the batteries last long enough until the generator kicks in ..
-
yeah dey make some awesome bikes, and some cool electronics
-
but isnt it data taking the photo for his portfolio
-
sell them .. how old are they ..? Maybe just use them for other Multiple views you may need around the property .. like you may need 9 on 1 monitor/tv while you may need 4 or 16 on some others ...
-
darn, that sony is even more than this one http://www.epoqtv.com/insert_product_details.php?prodid=164 PS. I have the dealer pricing on this brand by the way ..
-
well i was using a 50", wasnt any more impressive than the VGA to me ..
-
Ive used the DVI out from a Sony Entertainment PC to a HDTV and was not that impressive. Bigger the TV the worst the PC image is .. at least if you want to run any kind of normal resolution .. the 27 and 32" LCDs though are very decent quality.
-
yep, and the quality is pretty good also for analog CCTV, better than the regular PC LCDs ...
-
G22 those are small LCDs . ... looks something like our alarm monitoring station as we use multiple monitors, but honestly i hate multiple monitors, i prefer a large one that lets you split it into as many inputs as you want, like the 27 and 32" LCDs ..

huh??? Hmmm, 16 view video, 32 view video, 64 view video, multi site, etc etc etc .. 15" LCD?? Okay for a 4 channel, but thats about it. We have a 16 channel DVR now with a 27" LCD at a security booth, and the 50" HD Plasmas also look cool with the network software in multi site from the GE DVRs ...
-
let us know when you get one in and send some feedback might like to try one regardless of which dvr supports it or not, still interesting either way .. also find out what they want for their management center thing too .. originally saw the camera a year ago was waiting to see what would happen with it .. thanks Rory
-
Yeah but you dont get the benefit of the resolution that it uses, since the DVRs are only 720x480. At one point it was said they were having march networks make that system for them as they needed a DVR that could hadle the resolution .. its basically an analog camera that does multiple views, and it can be used on an IP network also . basically its a DVR, or an NVR .. either way you really need it to use the cameras features: # Digital Media Manager (Stream Management and Databased Media Archive) # Video Monitoring Software # Video Event Management Software # System Administration Software http://covitechnologies.com/products/analog

never seen it but you can get one with an RCA output and then use a RCA-BNC connector. Dont know what the quality would be like though .. You may be able to get something like an older home theatre video card with BNC though.
-
and they belong to a union
-
one thing that makes it better over others, is it is also an analog camera with normal BNC output Problem is, to really use their technology features, you have to use their DVR $$$

nah Data, I get the low paid labourers to do that part of the job ..
