hmm, change the dvr settings .. i still dont understand why a software company like Geo who doesnt make the hardware, and as big as they are, dont have something simple built in, like iview does ..??? Dont get me wrong, Iview is flaky in other areas also .. though Iview kills goes remote software for multi site ...

That is not weatherproof, it is weather resistant, but they suggest installation under an eave or overhang, so no direct water. This one is more weatherproof, we have these wall mounted and they have survived the last few weeks of heavy tropical storms. CVC-7WMTDV I would stay away from any Domes with built in IR inside the dome though, too many problems like glare at night. Levon, i was under the impression that it was lacking some features of the regular StoreSafe Pro, like multi-site? They emailed me about it a while back, and I have the developers control for it, just was waiting until they got multi site back into it .. any new advances with them? Pitty they cant do the DVMRe-CT like this, man I love those unit for their slimness and ease of use ... they look great and fit anywhere, almost ... the StoreSafes have so much wasted space inside ... have you opened up the CT and the Storesafe .. he he he .. the CT is so neat ..

they can still go bankrupt ... GE and Bosch arent going anywhere any time soon ... I know I know ... still doesnt stop us from buying from even smaller companies than March .. its just up to preference, i still dont think they should be charging so much money, but then again same sentiments about GE and others .. one Major player needs to break the rules and drop their pricing considerably, then all others will follow

Actually there is a locksmith down here that sells nothing but phillips (whoops) Bosch .. but they are locksmiths .. go figure if they know what is what with CCTV .. they work 9-5 mon-fri and thats that ... way ta push the bosch product

Rory, What companys do you know that are selling fake geos? I am wondering because I got a couple of them. I am going add them to my list of counterfeits. You can give me a PM. some miami distributors.. cant post names for obviuos reasons .. GEO is still splitting the signal up to multiview as that is not raw .. so there is where the issue is .. GEOs split of the signal is causing it to look fake and not real when in multi view. Either way, wiith DSP enabled Multi view looks crappy .. will use an SiS tomorrow and let you know ... Now that said, im a real perfectionist when it comes to video .. its gotta look reall ... also, ive tried all their features .. what exactly arethe pros and features of usng a Geo vision card ..? eXCept if you are doing PTZ Tracking .. there is nothing I can see that it has over the rest .. I mean for one it doesnt have a disk map .? personally I m using it for the raid and great support I can get for it from the person I buy it from ..

So thats why it looks so crappy in multi view .. its spliting the 1 channel signal among all the cameras .. as its not a mux?

yeah but im getting the SDK and dudes we'll have a CCTVForum version of it soon Its the most widely used DVR card . (10 times more complicated than using Iview, and 20 times more complicated than using Eclipse) so gotta use it yah know .. Scott has some great support on the raid stuff and thats what Im selling now ... real time with raid.

This forum will never be the same........ ha ha hahaa .. im even using geo now too Actually im waiting on the SDK though ... plus the new soft doesnt use a bongle ... and their new GUI is going to also be much better .. and yeah, Scotts guys are working on an even better card ..
