you have to hit stop to get into the menu for sure. Basically once its recording you have to stop the recording to do any menu stuff.

Transmission of Video Signals...great read!!!

NVT dont make baluns, just passive and active more professional items. NVT costs much more. There is a big diff from what NVT makes to what these OEMs are selling as Baluns. A balun is a simple passive thing that really looses alot of quality as well las other stuff. For people that dont recognise high quality they wont notice the difference, but I sure do -

well i know for a fact that baluns are useless if you want a good CCTV video feed. -
I was looking at the Nuvico and though I havent seen the software in person, the image shots of it in the datasheet, portray it as having a very powerful network software. Any experiences with the Nuvico? Seems it has all the features of a PC based also .. For the price, it would enable me to drop all the other high end kalatels, etc, if it is as stable, in other words, do they lock up? Sanyo DVRs, dont have a need to consider using them ...theres so much more out there that is better and cheaper. thanks rory

Does the network software have a disk map or disk analysis? How are the search features?
-
Whats their Network software like?
-
never used it, or even thought of using it.. but their cameras are decent, ulgy but decent, so probably the same for their DVRs ..they need to change the 80's stylin though!

The Nuvico's network features looks stronger
