the old versions did, new is ok, besides its very useful when writing scripts, especially for tables and design, just copy paste. Ofcourse I always edit it as some of the HTML is not needed. Sure, if all you are looking for is an HTML editor, then it may not be the best, but for what I use it for, it is the quickest and easiest. I still have to edit raw HTML anyway for my own needs, but any little time saved is money earned. Trust me, HTML is the least of my worries, i may spend less than 1% of development time on HTML, the rest is on the subs and functions and making the thing work.

whats wrong with FP??.... actually the IIS web server slows it down a lot, I have to turn that off when i want to do some heavy stuff.

im running 128MB DDRRAM with Shared 16MB fior video, 2.2 Ghz Celleron - now im not using it as a DVR - but i do everything else with it you can name. NOW, it is very slow alot of the time, certain apps make a difference, Firefox being one of them. PSP is fast, Word is okay, Front page is rather slow, Windows Media Player is soo slow. Notepad flies! Norton Antivirus, slooowwwwwwwwww, Outlook express, flies. Kazaa lite - slowwwwwww. And this is with a whole bunch of included services disabled and or turned off. I couldnt imaging using it as a DVR! Rory

ofcourse, what exactly did you expect the DVD would be for??? Its installed in the DVR, a DVD is only what 4GB, the HDD is much larger. Its just an alternative to using a PC to backup recorded video, this is how all the DVRs with CDs and DVDs work. Many people dont want their staff using a PC, thats why the front control on the DVRs are useful, something PC DVRs dont have.

or just focus it in dim lighting. Also, I always backfocus for the final focus, this way its guarenteed to be as crisp as possible, though you can get away without it, and even without focusing in dim lighting or with filters, depending on the camera.

well you can host the images on my site if you want. Actrually im in the middle of a gallery script, perhaps when im finished i could just set up something that you can link to, a special folder for this CCTV forum and members.

whats the price comparison to GE Kalatel's Casino DVR Appication? ive used neither, just wondering ..i know GE's is extremely expensive though does everything they would need ...

COPPPPP ... eeehhh. OK, lets evaluate the camera - Day Night Infrared - Ok, all it really does is turn off the chroma to catch IR lighting, It has no IR Cut Filter so the color is off. IR light is on almost all the time. Not sure which camera this is, it is a bullet camera though, the client bought all their own products contrary to my suggestions ..so now will yah listen to me darnit!!

yeah boyz in da forum, how about 64 Kalatel DSR-2000e Single Channel DVRs w/ audio & 2000GB HDD - 60pps ))))))) Plenty $$$$$ though ... ofcourse not the route that any sane person would take ..
