And can I use it for an NVR3208P ? Not sure on the NVR3216V-P but yes on the NVR3208P i cant seem to upgrade my 23208 with any firmware. through configtool , the file will transfer correctly, then restarts and nothing. Through usb just says failed. thinking about doing r232 method, but dahua equipment are a pain to upgrade.

i wondering will the dahua 3208 nvr work with hivision cameras without a firmware update? i bricked 2 dahua ipc2100 mini bullets and gonna replace them with hikvision cameras instead.dont wanna miss around with dahua nvr firmware, too much trouble if i brick that also.

i bricked both of my ipc2100 with latest firmware. does any know if ipc2100 has the rs232 ports? i opened it up , and cant seem to find it. dealer is a joke to deal with.

so i bricked one of my 2100 upgrading to the lastest firmware. I was being careless upgrading through the web interface instead of the configtool.exe as i usually do with all my other 6 cameras(all upgraded fine to latest firmware), had the IE in background. sigh. I bricked it after upgrade to latest, motion detecting wasnt working, so i downgrade to an older version(day set MD feature wasnt working), and then back again to latest version, i had error in the middle of my upgrade, IE just stop responding as a was surfing on firefox:( Right now, my camera is stucked in a wooden enclosure post my dad built for it(not gonna be fun trying to get to the camera). Is there a walkthru video for unbricking? What exact cable on ebay should i be buying? Not sure if its worth my time trying to unbrick or just buy a new cam if theres no instruction for unbricking. My reselling hdsecurity.com, hasnt respond to any of my emails in months, dont think they will for this request , but i did send them an email just for giggles. has anyone on here unbricked using the sftp method successfully, im gonna try to do a reset tomorrow after i get out a hammer to open up the enclosure.

hi, i have a problem with lag viewing on my iphone app due to unstable bandwidth between the 7 cameras. usually i can view 6 cams at time with green light on, and 1 red light.The last red light will turn green but with the expense of another working cam. my DVR is max FPS 120 at 1080p . 240fps at 720p this what my reseller told me 30fps is considered real time. Cameras cannot surpass 30fps. Camcorders are at 25fps. If you have 120fps at 1080p and 240fps at 720p. You need to split the resources evenly. For example 4 720P cameras at 30 fps is 120fps leaving you 120fps left. The 120fps 720p is equivalent 60fps at 1080p. You can add 2 1080p cameras at 30 fps or 4 1080p cameras at 15 fps. Your bit rate total of 8 cameras cannot surpass/exceed 32k bit. ALL bitrate at 4096kbps both modes extra stream D1 256kpsbitrate@7fps five 1.3M - four cameras at 15@fps 2048kbs Bitrate normal stream, one camera at 12@fps 2048kbs normal stream and motion stream. extra stream D1 256kpsbitrate@7fps both normal and motion stream does any one have similar config? im thinking about bumping up all my 1.3M camera bitrate up to 4096kbs. 4096x 5camera= 20kb +8kb from 1080p + all the extra stream? would i go over the bandwidth ? im trying to split it evenly between 1.3 and 1080 36FPS at 1080p+ about 72FPS at 1.3M would the extra stream influence my calculation at all? are there some apps that can help me config so i dont have any lag or bandwidth problems . feels like my feeds is unstable because its not split evenly. thanks i notice my network is much easier to config and view(when i turn one off) with 6 cams then 7 cam, the last cam is giving me some calculation problems .

i cant upgrade the 3208 nvr witht the nvr3xxx file you send?(compatible firmware?). do i used the flash.bin or nvr.bin(rename to update.bin as suggested in some other threads.) i dont wanna flash the flash.bin(dont wanna brick) i used the configtool to upgrade, the file transmit fine, then error occurred after file has finished uploading. any help appreciated.

Hi, i brought 6 cameras and a nvr from you about 2 months ago. Everything was working fine on all my cameras except one, i had all the cameras set up then left for vacation for 2 month, i just got back last week. When i returned home from vacation, i found out one of my camera, hdb3200c wasnt working, The POE at the switch was getting power for this problem camera, but the other two green lights were blinking on and off every few sec. I opened up the hdb3200c, found the the cable connecting the len to the motherboard been mangled up a little bit, the camera was getting picture, but only for the initiate 5secs, or when i had the cable facing the right way, i believe its a cable issue. I also broke the clip holding the flex cable together at the len ball head, so that will be a problem, if i send it back to you, what kind of warranty would u cover, beside me breaking the clip, it's costly for me to send it back from canada if its not under warranty, thanks

I brought the Duhua 8 channel from http://hdsecuritystore.com/product_info.php?products_id=225 I cant get it to work via HDMI with my P65st50 panasonic tv neither directly to the tv or to the AVR, yet it works fine on my computer monitor via HDMI? is this a tv issue, or do i need a firmware upgrade for my NVR?
