buellwinkle. I like the idea of the Pinpoint (looked at it on Amazon). Is it that straight forward? We have laptops. Can I just take an IP cam that is powered up and use a Pinpoint to split it? or do I need software / other parts?. Thanks for the tip.

Survtech. Thats pretty close to what we use now - Everfocus Kit 5.6". I agree , the screen on the Triplett is small. A tech had to use it last night and said it was " fine ". I pressed him on it and he said no more. Only complaint was glare on screen - which you can get with any of them. How often do you use the loop through or the signal generator for testing monitors? I know I'm splitting hairs here. I appreciate another pro view on this. Thanks for the reply.

We run Panasonic outdoor IP cams and in the specs it sais " -20" no heater required. We tested this over the last couple weeks here in Minneapolis, MN and did not have any issues. I will continue to use them. Very happy.
